_Work. It.

_This is the IN credible Tessa working it in the basement of Shoreditch Church at the Acne Paper issue launch on Friday night - As you can imagine we were quite a few cocktails down at this point, but gurl can still throw quite a look - Mad Skillz.

Ex Trava Ganza.

_The Banned Richard Prince

_Removed from the Tate 'Pop Life' exhibit, I think its amazing that this shot of a nude, 10 year old Brook Shields made it into the exhibition, but I am not suprised in the slightest that the police demanded its removal after only 7 days on show. And whoevers idea it was to hang it, was also quite the schrewd PR ;)

Dark, Brilliant, Genius.

_Pop Life @ Tate

_'Art In a Material World'

Andy Warhol claimed "Good business is the best art." Tate Modern brings together artists from the 1980s onwards who have embraced commerce and the mass media to build their own 'brands'. Pop Life includes Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, Takashi Murakami and more.

If you do one thing in the next few months, go to this, it will smash your senses out, in the best possible way.

RBPMstudio Preview: Lick & Stick II

_Just a few more collages I've been working on, this time for the 20th Century Couture website I recently re-launched. This is the beautiful Ryan, an Essex born, middle weight boxer, sporting a fine selection of 90's Alaia, 80's Herv Leger and Versace Altier Couture.

_Not usually a fan of full frontal, this image just completely gets me. Its so simple, so easy and yet sexy as hell.

_Acne Paper Issue.9 Launch Party

_I cant say it half as well as Dazed, so here we are:

"Acne celebrated the launch of issue 9 of Acne Paper, in the apt location of the very beautiful and slightly haunting Christ Church, Spitalfields in honour of the issue's themes of Art and Spirituality. S/S10's new collaborator Swarovski, added a little bit of extra sparkle to the evening as we were escorted in by door men wearing top hats and tails and bejewelled umbrellas

As fashion's finest marvelled at the beautiful candle lit singing of Samantha Smith and the captivating video projections, it then turned into a church rave, with plenty of Absolut vodka drinks to fuel the night. Three wise men on stilts walking through the crowd added to the celestial setting (and a pre-ambling Crimbo feeling too!) and we all went home clutching a Crystallized™ goodie bag.

The new issue of Acne Paper features a haunting cover with Tilda Swinton shot by Paolo Roversi and to go with the themes of enlightenment, spirituality, transcendence and paradise, there are interviews with David Lynch, Marina Abramovi and AA Bronson as well as an art portfolio curated by Lisa Rovner, Neville Wakefield. Waldemar Januszczak also delves into the secrets of the Sistine Chapel and Maureen Paley pays special homage to Edvard Munch.

Acne Paper Issue 9 available worldwide now."

I can confirm it was fantastic, and the Vintage Academe (the company I currently work with) were blown away by the amazing peices that were used in Tilda's 'Casati' shoot in the new issue.

_Quarter Century

_I'm currently prepping for my Birthday 'extravaganza' at the Russian Club Studios. And for my 20 closest who are invited its going to be amazing, I cant say too much as its a suprise for the night, needless to say, if you've been to one of my birthday events in the past, you'll know how epic it will be ;)

_I am currently working the loose outsized braid. Perfect for the Autumn season, and even better offset with an open knit black cashmere knit beanie pulled on the back of it.

_So . . .

_I had a bedroom move around, and now have a glorious seperated live / work space in my place.

_RBPMstudio Preview: 'Behind the Curtain'

_Images from current piece I'm working on with the amazing backstage fashion photographer Holly Hay. This set was taken backstage at the Luella SS10 show, and it simply melts me.

Stay tuned for more updates on this project.

_Its been too long . . .

_And I've just been too busy to blog anything, from work to partying, its pretty much been non stop, and its currently 11:30pm and I've made myself blog in bed.

So, I'll try to catch the blog up with my last 10 days, and then hopefully go to bed and dream of escaping to the house in the above image.

_RBPMstudio Preview: Lick & Stick

_I huge job finished at the begining of this week, so I have taken the end of the week to do my own stuff and work on shoot production for the next few weeks (stay tuned for more on this) But today I spent all afternoon making collages for a piece I'm working on with an amazing New York based artist.

So much fun.
I Heart Collages

_Scott Campbell at Lazarides Gallery

_I went to this on Tuesday afternoon, and if you can get over the 'tattoo stylings' its a great and fun little exhibition, in a fantastic space.

"The Shop at Lazarides is very proud to announce the much-anticipated opening of Scott Campbell's first UK solo exhibition 'Almost Always There'. Scott, the American tattoo artist extraordinaire, has produced a fabulous body of work that addresses symbolic reference and iconography and is generally really cool.

This show features his acclaimed sculpture made from stacks of 100 dollar-bills, laser-cut to produce complex three-dimensional designs. Also included in the show is a brand new collage series and limited edition print"

The show is running from Oct 2nd - Oct 30th,
Lazarides Gallery,
8 Greek Street,
W1D 4DG.

_Butthole T

_This is my new favourite T, it arrived on my doorstep at the begining of London Fashion Week and I wore it non stop - such a good responce from it, and even better due to the fact I was actually a huge Butthole Surfers fan when I was a kid. I wanted to blog it when it arrived but couldn't find a decent shot of it, then this photo appeared on the Purple Diary site last week entitled 'Lindsay Lohan’s Butthole Surfers T-shirt, Paris, October 2nd 2009' by Olivier Zahm. What can I say? girls got good taste.

_Currently on my bedside table . . .

_'Answered Prayers: The Unfinished Novel' by Truman Capote

"A gift from an unbridled genius. Exciting...irresistible...should be cherished as top-flight work from a master." - Los Angeles Times Book Review

Although Truman Capote's last novel was unfinished at the time of his death, its surviving portions offer a devastating group portrait of the high and low society of his time.

As it follows the career of a writer of uncertain parentage and omnivorous erotic tastes, Answered Prayers careens from a louche bar in Tangiers to a banquette at La Cote Basque, from literary salons to high-priced whorehouses. It takes in calculating beauties and sadistic husbands along with such real-life supporting characters as Colette, the Duchess of Windsor, Montgomery Clift, and Tallulah Bankhead. Above all, this malevolently funny book displays Capote at his most relentlessly observant and murderously witty.

"Prose that makes the heart sing and the narrative fly... inspired." - The New York Times Book Review

_Culture, colours, life - Everything PoP related I completely adore, and this collection of images I feel pretty much opitomises everything I am, do, aspire to and stand for in life, work and play.
