Another brilliant issue - Much cheesier than previous issues (boy wise) but I suppose they're going for that wholesome american thing. And Doug does it SO well. I love the fact that he just has this AMAZING house in the Hollywood hills, and he just gets boys up there, strips them down, throws them in the pool and starts shooting - Brilliant. Now there's a job to be jelous of!

_Givenchy AW09

_On Sunday evening I went for dinner with a mate at 'The Diner' in Shoreditch, one of the conversations we had involved the new seasons menswear collections for AW09 (he's the accessories designer for Topman Desgin, and also runs his own brand A.IN.T) anyway, I hadn't seen the new Givenchy collection, and he invormed me how it basically looked like my wardrobe, I wasnt sure, but non the less, pulled my black cashmere high neck over my one top buttoned black shirt straightened my skinny black jeans and zippped up my black shiny puffa jacket and left to pick up my Victorian wool cape and over sized black hoodie that I had left at a friends house the night before, then I got home and proceeded to check out the above collection.

What can I say?!

_As the Snow falls heavilly in London . . .

_I simply cant wait to wake early pull on furs and snow boots, pick up my polaroid SX70 and go play with my friends in Hyde park.

Excited? - Doesn't even come close.

_A friend of mine took this in a club in London last year, and its just brilliant - Imagine making the decision that this would be your outfit for a night out, and who did it for her?! I imagine its something far too difficult to paint on oneself, surely?

Its things like this that make me want to live in an apartment I saw in NYC - It was an old factory and the ground floor had been turned into a white walled, rubber floored gallery space, with shutters that rolled open straight onto the street, with three floors of live/work space above. Yes please.

_I have no idea who has desgined these rings, but I want one SO badly, If anyone knows anything about them, please let me know - They're jusr brilliant - tiny angular concrete and silver - Perfection.

_This image of Chloe Sevigny was shot for 'Purple Fashion' about 4 seasons ago, and came (before they did all the extra magazines) as an A1 fold out poster, on 200gsm matt paper, black and white image one side, and lilac colour block on the other side, it was just lovely, and I have no idea where it has gone.

_Since the 1970s, Walter Pfeiffer has been producing a powerful body of work, photographing friends and strangers in visceral and corporeal portraits that would change our perception of the struggle between realism and glamour in photography. Born in Switzerland, where he lives and works in Zurich, Walter Pfeiffer has finally been discovered by a larger audience and set as the forerunner to many photographers working the borders of gender in the past 20 years, such as Wolfgang Tillmans, Heinz Peter Knes or Ryan McGinley, since the publication of "Welcome Aboard: 1980 - 2000" took the world by surprise, once again showing how much we oversee

_I'm Currently Watching . . .

_The 2002 Docu-Movie 'The Cockettes' about the 1970's San Francisco based Drag Troupe - Brilliant.

"As the psychedelic San Francisco of the '60's began evolving into the gay San Francisco of the '70's, The Cockettes, a flamboyant ensemble of hippies (women, gay men, and babies) decked themselves out in gender-bending drag and tons of glitter for a series of legendary midnight musicals at the Palace Theater in North Beach. With titles like "Tinsel Tarts in a Hot Coma" and "Pearls over Shanghai", these all singing, all dancing extravaganzas featured elaborate costumes, rebellious sexuality, and exuberant chaos.

The Cockettes inspired the glitter rock era of David Bowie, Elton John, and The New York Dolls, and the campy extravaganzas of Bette Midler and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. "Their influence will be felt years from now,'' wrote Lillian Roxon, in her Top of the Pops column during the troupe's New York run. She proclaimed The Cockettes 15 years ahead of their time, and predicted, "Every time you see too much glitter or a rhinestone out-of-place, you (will) know it's because of the Cockettes."

Trivia: On the Weekend of 22 December 2002, the movie grossed $75.00 (by contrast, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) took in $62,007,000).

_Lanvin AW09

_"There was a pragmatic new mood at Lanvin this season, which had Lucas Ossendrijver and his mentor Alber Elbaz out working the crowd before the show. Setting the scene, I guess. "How to be real and radical"

AW09 is easily Lanvin's most impressive men's collection to date. While it retained the trainers-with-tux quirk that has been the label's influential signature, the Fall offering shelved the floppy bow-tie decadence and sexual ambiguity in favor of a more direct take on the twenty-first-century male. There was, for instance, a distinct military feel to the opening passage, with an army green double-breasted coat and trousers tucked into laced-up boots.

Sober, not somber—that was the way reality was addressed. The palette was muted, the monochrome option exercised often. Fabrics were the Lanvin trademark blend of traditional luxe and technological twist, often in the same piece."

_Im begining to feel like this should be Jasons blog! But I had to put these up - the outtakes from the shoot he did for one of last years Nylon Magazine cover features - They're just ace - The combination of stark white and colour saturation, with the mental great styling done by Olsen herself. For all of these reasons, the top image is currently my desktop and EVERYONE asks where its from.

Watch out for Nocito in this months 10men magazine, as well as Dazed and some other AMAZING british publications come spring ;)

_Classic Baron

_Just some lovely spreads from French Vogue, such classic Fabian Baron - So similar to the early 90's Interview layouts, but with a san serif - so nice, and such an ace development from its 90's New York sibling.

_Paris in Mourning

_Just a few street style shots from Paris Menswear shows - Black, was some something I noticed, and I was doing myself, whether it was Gareth's huge influence on current fashion, a knee jerk to the pop colours of the last few seasons, the economic mood or just the fact that you can do SO much with it. Everyone was wearing black - Fur, Knit, Jersey, Wool, Patent, Leather, Suede, plastic, whatever, as long as it was black, and not just a bit of it, but everything, layered up to the nines, whether it was necessary, or not.

My personal favourite is 18 year old Hyuna (Bottom) who looks like a christmas decoration from 'Nightmare Before Christmas', and you dont even wanna know what the girl can do to a dance floor! - ACE.
