_Beautiful Darling

_I cant wait for this film.

Candy Darling was a fixture in the New York Off-Broadway scene in the 60s, in Warhol films such as Women in Revolt and Flesh, and became a prominent personality in Warhol's circles, influencing such noted contemporary artists as Madonna, David Bowie and Lou Reed. This documentary will use a series of interviews, archival footage, and images from Candy's home in Massapequa, NY. Archival footage includes rare 25 year old interviews conducted by Jeremiah Newton with members of Warhol's Factory and Tennessee Williams. The film features interviews with colleagues, contemporaries and friends of Candy, including John Waters, Peter Beard, Holly Woodlawn, Bob Colacello, Geraldine Smith, Pat Hackett and Ron Delsener. oh, and 'candy's voice' is being spoken by contemporary NYC legend Chloe Sevigny, so as you may have guessed, I'm in.

Released March 2010.

_New to my walls . . .

_Two of the now defunct MHI X Andy Warhol Collab skateboard decks, purchased on ebay for the bargain price of £30 for the pair! - Happy boy.

_Shoot

_As mentioned below, last week I did an amazing days shooting for Johnson with photographer Ellis Scott, Ellis is a lucky enough young man to have his own amazing studio in North London, meaning he can fill it with joyous oversized bits of vintage camera equipment that most photographers could only dream of having, from his 1960's black enamelled generator, to the 12"X8" medium format polaroid camera we were shooting on, to random sculptures by set designer Gary Card and even a 6' King Kong hand.

Total Genius, Thanks for an amazing day mate, the polaroids look incredible (to be shown in the premier issue of Johnson)

_Love

_This fantastic double photo of young photographer Billy Ballard taken on location in Mallorca last year - Modern vintage perfection.

_Sooth

_Just a few bits and pieces calming my day today, from open fires and table nests to A Single Man and a perfect desk, immaculate black gloss nails to vintage framed posters

_Damn Fine Rudes

_Just a glorious selection of boys from Samuel Zakuto's ace little blog.
A pleasure, everytime I visit.

_Want Want Want

_The Chanel fake tattoos, launching in store April 30th, costing a bargain £50.00 a set - You will see me working the above look on the street.

_Totally Obsessed

_By the 1990's Helmut Lang campaigns using images from the Robert Mapplethorpe Archives - Pure Genius.

_Nike Air Hoop Structure Triax

_Check out my new kicks I treated myself to yesterday.

A hybrid design launched last year, Initially seen back in June in a grey and black colourway, the Nike Air Hoop Structure made it’s introduction in the classic colorway of the ‘91 Triax back in August. The running shoe turned basketball kicks is one the now many examples of the hybrids. In my opinion these sneakers properly pay homage to the classic combo. And if nothing else I like the fact I can work a Puerto Rican rude girl X Marty Mcfly look in them!

_Nude Vinoodh

_Check out this vintage portrait of Vinoodh Matadin - taken by Hans van Manen in 1986, total genius, How pretty is he?!

_Busy boy III

_Massive apolgies - still rammed busy, but right now, I'm taking a few minutes, while on train, to blog my arse off, just to catch up on the past ten days of my life, from work and play to general inspirations. Above we have a shoot a did with Mr Ellis Scott last Monday (For more details see above).

_Busy Boy I

_I apologise for not blogging until now, I've been a hella busy boy. All positive for 2010, lots of shoots, lots of new prospects, and all sorts of fun stuff, but right now, I've literally not touching the ground day from day.

Above we have a product shoot I did on Friday for Vintage Couture company The Vintage Academe with photographer Pelle Crepin, a very quiet day, but with some incredible pieces from 1920's Gabrielle Chanel and Jean Patou, to 1950's Balmain and Dior, 1970s Paco Rabanne Couture, all the way up to 80 and 90's Comme Des Garcons, Galliano and Alaia.

Ace, stay tuned for more,
or check their blog at www.vintageacademe.blogspot.com

_Yorkshire Charity Shops...

_Are TOTAL genius - Today I found a pile of over 40 'mini tourist vacation books' that were apparently really popular in the 1970's. I made myself restrain from buying them all, but I did get a nice selection of 10, for the bargain price of £2.00 - The imagery is great, and the tiny prints / bindings are even better.

_Another Christmas Treat

_That I cant stop flicking through, it is literally the MOST inspiring book, All shot on film in the 1970's from medium format to disposable, they're a set of photos I just cant but help be jealous of - I wanna go to Africa!

_Sleepy Morning Bed Boys

_A sleepy morning boy is the sexiest thing in the world.

_'Volcano Choir'

_I cannot stop listening to this album - perfect for the cold and icey country - I'm in love with this sound.

_Papped

_I'm only posting this due to the fact that its been so long since I've done a Sevigny post, and the fact that today I found this entire shoot on one of my hard drives and it made me VERY happy, totally styled by Chloe herself, this type of shoot works perfectly for Miss Sevigny's style.

_For young Mr Horst

_I found this in a 1978 Interview yesterday and thought you'd like it ;)

_Note:

_Next/This Christmas,
I would like this.
Thanks.

_I love this shoot from Hercules magazine, but saying that, pretty much anything Doug Inglish shoots I love - Its obviously the boy thing, but he just seems to capture something in them that's complete genius, and there's no exception for stunning model Marlon Teixeira.

_First post of the new decade

_And the country is covered in snow.
