_Fever

_Just a great little fanzine thats been getting quite a bit of press over the last few months 'Fever' Zine - AMazing.
Check it out at www.myspace.com/feverzine

_Go see

_In this mid-christmas-week 'gap' if I recommend one thing - Nowhere boy. Aaron Johnson is the hottest most arrogant little thing as John Lennon, and with Sam Taylor Wood as the director you know you're getting stunning film stills from this movie.

Go and see this Film.

_The Studio takes on Cos.com

_For 24 hours, on Christmas Eve, RBPMstudio was given the opening page to the Cos website. I was invited a few weeks back to contribute an image or idea related to a 'recyle/reuse' Cos Christmas. So at the end of a shoot in December I knocked this together with photographer Pelle Crepin. 'For Every Season' was literally every issue of the cos magazine turned into giant sheets of wrapping paper and a giant pile of gifts was created. In the next few days I post a better image of the shot, but for now, here's how we looked doing 'big brand' for a day ;)

_Todays style Inspiration . . .

_Nancy Clara Cunard (March 10, 1896 – March 17, 1965) was a writer, heiress and political activist. She was born into the British upper class but strongly rejected her family's values, devoting much of her life to fighting racism and fascism. She became a muse to some of the 20th century's most distinguished writers and artists, including Wyndham Lewis, Aldous Huxley, Tristan Tzara, Ezra Pound, Henry Crowder, and Louis Aragon, who were among her lovers, Ernest Hemingway, James Joyce, Constantin Brancusi, Langston Hughes, Man Ray, and William Carlos Williams. In later years she suffered from mental illness, and her physical health deteriorated. She died at age 69, weighing only 26 kilos, in the Hôpital Cochin, Paris.

_Merry Christmas 2009

_Right then, final one for the night - My 2009 christmas cards.

Charming, and as people have begun to expect from my work - completely understated ;)

_Why I love Christmas

_Epic table settings, old magazine archives (yes I have even more up at home), afternoons on the sofa with Christmas movies, Hours at the dinner table, course after course, freezing yet sunny country dog walks, Epic dinners, Antique family tree decorations and gardens covered in snow.

_ANOTHER Snowstorm in Yorkshire

_When the sun rises I'm sure I'll blog some images of the snow blanketed country, but in the meantime here is Turners 1842 painting 'Snowstorm' depicting a snowstorm over the coast of Yorkshire - Ace.

_This years theme . . .

_Grey patent & Gold glitter: I wouldn't recommend it. Loving the grey, but the gold glitter is a nightmare to stick, thus the reason for so many of the box versions.

Note: This is 1 over over 30 presents, I've spent the last three nights doing this.

_Inspired over the last Week . . .

_Just three images that are inspiring me this week.
Thighs, white horses and cute, arrogant boys.

_Currently Watching . . .

_'Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome' (1985)

Bartertown is a city on the edge of a desert that has managed to retain some technology if no civilization. Max has his supplies stolen and must seek shelter there in a post apocalypse world where all machines have begun to break down and barbarians hold what is left. He becomes involved in a power struggle in this third Mad Max film where he must first survive the town, survive the desert and then rescue the innocent children he has discovered.

And overall my ultimate style inspiration this season - Total Genius.

_Interior

_Just some more nice selections to inspire you into the new year and a new interiors look / detail.

Simms X Coddington X Versailles

_I cant remember if I've blogged this shoot before? But if I have, its so stunning, I'll just blog it again.

_Graphic Delights

_I've been looking for inspiration for a project I'll be working on in the New Year, and this is where I'm currently at - how ace are those 'boys in my bedroom' spreads, and of course the construction of Kilimanjaru, and incredible layout of Comme des Garcons WERK magazine is just fantastic.

_Fawn Whippet x Hermes Cashmere

_If you had any idea how much this melts me.

_Just randomly found . . .

_These images on an arts blog of the newspaper I produced for a bStore exhibit back in October - Its real nice when work pops up like that. And even nicer when they've obviously just photographed the paper they got on the night. Its nice someone took the time that I haven't had yet! I also attached an image of the 'blocks' in the windows of the store during the Henry Mackay-Bull exhibit over LFW SS10. I love, and pride myself, in the crossing of graphic/arts/fashion boundaries and this piece was a great and fun example of that.

_LOVE #3 Promo

_Now thats a cover!

Still not on board with that title font, but the Lara image is genius, and the stamping feels like the fun and playful concepts POP used to work with. Great clear space, random placement and pleasing balance.

Launches February 8th '10

_Inspired

_I adore this first ever 15 year old Kate shoot by Corrine Day for The Face in 1990, but until recently I had never seen the set of contacts stuck to the wall the day of the shoot - truly the essence of these images, so nice to see them, and I think they look amazing amongst the initial editorial.

_Christmas Wish List VII.

_A selection of Warhol Polaroid's being sold at Bonhams in the New Year (I dont mind not getting them Christmas for Warhols) a large selection is being sold but personally I'd love a monotone edit, and this point shoe, switch blade egg box three way would be PERFECTION.

_Winter Inspiration

_This is todays winter inspirational look - long hair, loose braids and an oversized wool coat (Old fawn coloured YSL belonging to my dad)
