_My New Coffee Pot

_a beautiful Feud French coffee pot, thank you Kim, it is a glorious birthday gift xx

_Dulwich Mid-Century Modern Art Fair

_Last Sunday I Travelled with a mate out into the suburbs of LDN to go to the Dulwich Mid-Century Modern Art Fair at The Dulwich college for boys. Between laughing at the names of the students for their Fencing achievements, we had an amazing time, the building is completely classical with a strange and stunning sterile 1960's concrete and glass extension on it, in which the main body of the fair is held. Amazing people, amazing furniture, amazing fun. And a massive thank you to Jacob's Family for such an ace day, oh and especially to Kim, for my stunning new coffee pot belated birthday gift xx

_Boiz and those Shoulders

_I have a bit of a thing for boys with big shoulders, and this MMM look from 'blogesphere superstar' and newly appointed PonyStep door boy Pelayo, www.katelovesme.net, does quite the job - Roll on those menswear shoulders for next season.

A good look man x

_Central

_Loving the centralized i-D logo on the new 'Winter issue' - I just wish they'd done it to all the cover options, ie. Centralized Mclellan and retro Lara porn - Genius.

_Winters Coming

_So with hardcore winter in full flow now, I found/have been sent some lovely looks / objects that will be influencing the darker months of the year - From Felt kilts and shiny nylons, to full black leather and wools, to Old school Raf and new season Givenchy.

Winter is totally the best season for dressing.

_Sea God

_'Poseidon', GQ Style 6 Spring Summer 2008
Photography by Nathaniel Goldberg.
Styling by David Bradshaw
Model: Patrick Petitjean at Success

This shots made me catch my breath at the beauty of the image by Nathaniel Goldberg and the sheer perfection in casting Patrick as the Greek god of the sea. My vote for one of the most mesmerizing male model shoots in recent memory.

_Rude

_I was in DSM the other afternoon and saw a boy working hardcore rude boi (wet look hair, cap, gold chain etc) but in an oversized grey suit with white shirt, and black Reebok classics - it looked SO GOOD, and his angry / cute boy look really topped it off and made my day.

Above images Ben Weller, with styling by Sharmadean Reid.

_An apology to The Times Style

_I am fully aware that your number one 'going down' this week was 'bloggers who don't update everyday', but last week I was away on the coast, and no-where near any internet, so this next week I will strive to inspire you from 'blogging off'. I start with a little something that has inspired the beginning of my week - Cold sea air and signatures in wet sand.

_This Weeks Big Gossip

_'Club 21 pulls out of Luella'

Club 21, Luella’s ready-to-wear and accessories licensee, has pulled out of its investment in the London Fashion label.

The closure of one of Luella’s key manufacturing partners Carla Carini is believed to have meant that the British brand could not fulfill its spring 10 orders and Luella is understood to have ceased trading.

Luella Bartley, who set up her label in 1999, is reported to be assessing options about the future of the business, which is believed to generate annual sales of around £9m.

Bartley, a former journalist for British Vogue, burst onto the LFW scene in 2000 with a collection entitled “Daddy, who were the Clash”. She was an instant hit with the buyers and and press and is best known for her feminine collections and for her accessory designs.

Luella has shown at both London Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week. She has also created designs for fashion companies as diverse as New Look and Mulberry.

_Josh Olins

_Some lovely images from photographer Josh Olins. I remember Josh coming into the offices of Homme+ when I was interning there Four years ago (the bottom two images are actaully from the first shoot I worked on with him), slightly awkward, and keen to shoot with anyone he could. It seems it payed off, Josh's work is now everywhere, from Pop/Love/Homme+/i-D magazines to the main campaigns for Mui Mui and Prada.

_Richard Phibbs

_Richard Phibbs is the most incredible sports based photographer, the images are so raw, and passionate, and I'm sure its no coinsidence that hia images appear with such a sexual tone, from soft 'morning after' lighting, to raw, passionate and sweaty flesh.

Highly recomended is is 'Wrestlers' stories.
Damn fine.
