_Olle Lundberg's Cabin

_When I think about escapes, I think of Olle. Olle Lundberg, the remarkable architect, salvage junkie and erstwhile Ikea designer, not only lives on a ferry boat in San Francisco harbor, he has a cabin up north (Cazadero, Calif.) that I'd die for. Above are some pics of the woody, simple, airy and largely reused environment he's created for relaxing when not working down on the 'stressful' west coast.

_Birthday dinner at 'Flash'

_So Friday night saw a night of pure decadence, when I celebrated my 24th Birthday at 'Flash' - A pop up restaurant at London's Royal Academy. It was INCREDIBLE, and a massive thanks to my select 12 who dressed to the nines (Lanvin inspired fresh flower corsages included) and came and helped spend £879.16 on the MOST incredibly excessive 4 course dinner I think I have ever had. Above is the invite for the event - screened A1 poster, on 140gsm stock, rolled in personalized matt black tubes, and mailed out 24 days before the event.

_F+R do 'Chav Boyz'

_Thursday this week was one of those great really creative days - I started the day by doing two editorial shoots for this winters Nylon Guys, then went straight over to a friends house for two test shoots, with a few of the great 'new faces' at Premier Models (Scott, James and Callan). The above shots are from the first test, with a kinda 'pop-chav' look, then the second shoot, of which I'll blog some shots later in the week was just ridiculous, but so much fun ;)

_New project

_Currently in the throws of working on an Amazing new project, its slightly strange and may shock a few people as to what the basis is of what I'm actually doing, but if it works, it will be so so good ;)

_My last few days . . .

_have been a Bruce Weber wash - 'The Collection' DVD boxset arrived on my doorstep on Monday and I've done nothing but watch 'Chop Suey' 'Lets get lost' 'A Letter To True' and 'Broken Noses' plus all the video shorts and music videos from 1987-2008 - AMAZING. And I heart Peter Johnson SO MUCH its kinda ridiculous (The hot one above).

_'Propaganda'

_Comme just get it right everytime, the perfect combination of classic type, strange imagery and beautifully interesting logo's - lovelovelove these posters, and especially when they are fully wall pasted in grids as they are on the outside walls of the 'Guerilla Stores' - the only sign of them being there. _Casa 11 Mujeres

_“ELEVEN WOMAN” house is a vacation home at Beranda. It stands on a site sloping down to Cachagua beach on the Pacific, 140 kilometers north of Santiago, Chile. The brief was to provide a second home laid out on three levels for a couple with eleven daughters whose ages range from four to twenty, and to provide all services, a master bedroom, and spaces for entertaining and guests. The site is on terrain with a steep slope (about 45 degrees), which offers a splendid view of the beach. The three stories are laid out as follows: the plinth is used for the shared spaced and includes a games room and TV room; the intermediate level contains the bedrooms of the eleven daughters, as well as two living rooms for different age groups; the upper level contains the services, the master bedroom, living room, and the family dining room. Planned in bare concrete with travertine floors, “ELEVEN WOMAN” house adapts to the contours of its site by its extremely compact layout so as to offer splendid views from every room.

_Just found these images yesterday - amazing shots from the 6 month Comme des Garcons Guerilla Store in Cracow. Gone now, as they were last season, but there are a plethora of new 'pop-up' stores in new locations around the globe.

_More book and magazine storage, if anybody has an empty library they wouldn't mind me using for a while, please get in contact. Its reached a point where I realize 8 stacks of books and magazines down both sides of my bed is a bit silly.

Thats right, as of the 5th of November, the first in history. Amazing election night, I was up until 6:00am watching with my housemates, and cried everytime they showed Jesse Jackson (I have no idea why?)

_Nylon Guys Winter Issue

_So I spent the large part of yesterday running around town photographing the 10 pages I have been given in the new Nylon Guys Winter issue. They asked for 'Real London Guys Style' so combining well dressed street cast guys and a plethora of stylish mates I had a hella lot of fun, so look out for it in the new issue.

_Ponystep Halloween

_So last Sunday was the Halloween special at Ponystep in the East end of London, and I just thought I'd blog a few of the images from the night, firstly the outfts were brilliant and people really went for it, and secondly it was such an ACE night - it felt how Boombox used to feel - fights at the door, lines down the street, an inspiring mix of people inside and to top it off Girls Aloud and Britney's new singles in abundance!

_Lovely Agressively minimal graphics - from fashion spreads to strange tribal graphics and even T-shirt graphics. I like the way they're definately referencing Modernist and Soviet graphics but still seem to have a modern twist to them

_Boy shots by Samuel Zakuto, I just got to thinking about how ace his work was when I mentioned it below, so went seaching, and found these - I love how Zakuto's style looks like fleeting moments with these boys, like he just saw them on the street thought they were cute and took a few shots of them, and then never see's them again. I dont knoew if this is the case, but its kinda a nice idea.
