_Just some lovely little inspirational graphic bits for a Tuesday afternoon

But for me, its 'nout about that - Lara Stone's features (and attributes) lend themsleves perfectly to 'Catholic Chola done Good' - Kind of the trashy Mexican girl who married the plantation owner (is that racist? . . . meh) Loving the chola hair and make-up (weave and lip liner is always a winner) and the porn star body mixed with tight, formal and almost 'Sunday best' super brands - Classic Inez and Vinoodh (I will later mention another shot from this shoot that seems to keep on re-appearing in thier work) - non the less, it reminds me of Baz Luhrmann's 'Romeo+Juliet' in its pure and excessive brilliance.

_Visvim X Blaise Mautin 'Subsection' Candle

_Japanese label, Visvim, has collaborated once again with French perfumery, Blaise Mautin, for their latest collection of home fragrance and perfume. The Subsection Fragrance Candle comes in two scents, F.I.L or Mint. The candle is packaged in a chemistry laboratory looking container with calibrations (hence the name, Subsection). The other product of the same collection, the Subsection Room Spray, comes in F.I.L or Amber, and is packed in a conical flask-like container. The Visvim X Blaise Mautin Subsection Collection will only be available at Colette in June, so do hurry up and make your order if this is an item on your summer shopping list.

Man, all I want at the minute is my own 'studio candle' - stay tuned.

_Having been the focus of numerous pop-up shops and “corners” within their stunning Parisian retail space, colette will wlecome a COMME des GARCONS Corner later this month. The spot will play host to COMME des GARCONS Shirt, COMME des GARCONS Play and Dover Street Market items between June 22nd and August 1st. As well the COMME des GARCONS collaborative capsule with Medicom Toy in the form of the BLACK collection will also be on hand from June 22nd to July 4th.

_Just a little shot from a recent project I worked on for the Menswear Graduates and Innovation Centre at Central Saint Martins (I will elaborate on this further when the imagery offically launches) - This is a shot for young designer Matthew Grant - An incredible little collection of innovation meets tradition in pastel shades ( from the fabric appreciation alone, you can tell he spent all last year working at Maison Martin Margiela in Paris). oh, and the model is Clinton, one of the new faces of Givenchy.
