_The beautiful god like character that is Joe Dallesandro, has featured in many bits of iconic pop culture over the years but these are three new ones I was unware of or had forgotten about until recently . . .
1. Thats Joe's groin on the iconic Andy Warhol designed Rolling Stones album cover.
2. I had never seen this seen until a few weeks ago - an older Joe starred alongside a very young looking Kate Moss in an early 90's Calvin Klein Jeans campaign.
3. Most people are aware that is Joe on the cover of The Smiths self entitled album cover, but what I find interesting is that it was this cover that inspired Jop van Bennekom and Gert Jonkers to do the pink and black design print for the cult gay magazine 'Butt'.
Ace.
