_Dover Street Purfume
_Rei Kawakubo's cult London department store announces the release of its Eau de Toilette available in 100ml bottles from mid September. Known as the 'coolest shop in London', Dover Street Market as a lifestyle boutique has long been stocking a selection of perfumes and finally is to launch its own perfume in celebration of its fifth anniversary.
The perfume is an unusually modern construction of a classic woody fragrance for both Men and Women. At a concentration of 8 per cent, the head consists of bergamot, mandarin, black pepper, whilst at the heart of the scent is coriander, incense, juniper berry over a base of cedarwood, labdanum ciste, patchouli, and pine essence.
The monochromatic packaging is inside out, printed, whilst the minimalist bottle displays the DSM logo sideways, both as designed by Comme des Garçons' founder, Rei Kawakubo.
The scent will be launching at Dover Street Market, London on September 10th, 2009 and will be available worldwide from around mid September at all Comme des Garçons shops and other selected shops, corners and shelves.
