_Stephen Sprouse
_The Stephen Sprouse Book is a fascinating monograph on the influential New York artist who collaborated with Marc Jacobs on the iconic 2001 graffiti collection. Inventive, enigmatic, and supremely creative, Stephen Sprouse (September 12, 1953 - March 4, 2004) made art and clothing that captured the mood of the '80s and '90s. He is one of the first American designers to mix graffiti and a punk aesthetic with fashion, Sprouse challenged conventional notions of style. His unique sensibility still influences fashion, music, advertising, and popular culture today.
