_This weekend I went to actually view (rather than drink the free bar) of Matt Irwins third exhibition 'Punk.Perfect.Awful' - Terrible name. But actually quite a nice exhibtion - the images are well edited and beautifully printed, and actually look really good hung in the empty 'rave space' of Cordy House on East londons Curtain Road.
Matt Irwin’s career has been on an upward trajectory for some years now. With work published in the world’s premier fashion publications, the Dazed darling decided he was ready for another solo show. Some call it pure self-indulgence, others, artistic expression. I don’t really care - the prints are lovely, the subjects are great, Lara Stone is amazing (Above are my favoutite images from the exhibition) and its better than the usual 'urban art' shite they usually have in Cordy house.
Exhibition runs 20th Feb-11th March at Cordy House, Curtain Rd, London.
